I am a family lifestyle expert and the mom to three little boys, so I am very much in the trenches of motherhood. Like most moms I have five balls in the air at once. I am busy, at times too busy, and I love it that way.
My personal and professional mission is to help moms (and that includes me!) achieve the family life that they aspire to enjoy. I started Cool Finds for Moms because I didn’t see any site out there focusing on products for moms. There are tons of great sites about cool baby things but moms need a place where they can find the products and services that enhance and simplify their lives. So moms, this site is for you. Go ahead, put yourself on your ever-long priority list and enjoy!
In case you want to know a little more about me, here's my blurb: I am known in the media as "The Lifestyle Mom" and I regularly speak and write about a broad range of topics and issues that effect American families today. I am the President of LifestyleMom Communications, Inc., and I serve as a mom expert for Mom Central Consulting. I am also the author of Blindsided by a Diaper: Over 30 Men and Women Reveal How Parenthood Changes a Relationship (Random House, June 2007) and the creator and leader of the "More than Motherhood" Workshop, the mission of which is help moms create the life they dream of living. In my "pre-kids" life, I was a marketing executive in magazine publishing, serving in senior management positions at Child, SmartMoney and Inc. Magazine. After living in New York City for 12 years I now enjoy a peaceful and very suburban life with my husband and three young boys in Madison, Connecticut.
